The Saint Elizabeth First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program and Thunder Bay Regional Cancer Care Program Northwest are excited to announce the upcoming webinar on cervical cancer. In this one hour session the learner will learn more about;  cervical cancer, risk factors, First Nations statistics compared to the rest of Ontario, as well as resources available for First Nations and if available a review of the newly released 2012 Cervical Screening  Best Practice Guidelines .

Sharing Knowledge, Strengthening Connections: FNIM Youth and Elders Sexual Health Project

The Saint Elizabeth First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program invites you to participate in a new project that we are working in the area of sexual health and reconnecting FNIM Elders and Youth.

The goal of this project is to reconnect Elders and youth who are of First Nations, Inuit and Métis ancestry using social media—a Facebook fan page, a Twitter account, and YouTube videos—to foster and communicate discussions and teachings around sexual health, in an appropriate and respectful manner.
